This policy explains returns, refunds, and how orders are handled at Toasty Smoke Shop(“Toasty,” “we,” “us”) when you order through https://www.toastysmokeshop.com for in-store pickup or local delivery. By placing an order you agree to this policy.
Final sale
For health, safety, and legal reasons, tobacco, nicotine, vape, hemp, and related products are sold on a final-sale basis. We generally cannot accept returns or exchanges on these products once an order has been fulfilled, and we cannot resell items that have left the shop. Please review your cart carefully before you check out.
Defective or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we want to make it right. Contact us within 48 hoursof pickup or delivery with your order number and, where possible, a photo of the item and packaging. We may, at our discretion, replace the item or issue a refund. Manufacturer defects in devices may also be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and we’ll help point you to it.
- Keep the item and its packaging until the issue is resolved.
- Do not use a clearly defective device; let us assess it first.
- Approved replacements or refunds cover the affected item; we’ll confirm next steps when you reach out.
In-store pickup
- Pickup orders are prepared at 2577 Ogden Ave in Downers Grove and held for the purchaser.
- The person picking up must be 21+ and present a valid government-issued photo ID that matches the order. We will refuse handoff if ID is missing, expired, altered, or does not match.
- We hold prepared pickup orders through the end of the business day they are placed. If you can’t make it in time, contact us to rearrange; uncollected orders may be canceled and refunded per the timing below.
Local delivery
- Delivery is available across Downers Grove and the surrounding DuPage County service area, subject to courier availability and address verification. Deliveries are local and in-state only, we do not ship across state lines.
- The delivery address must fall within our serviceable zone and within the State of Illinois. Orders to an address outside the zone or out of state will be canceled and refunded.
- An adult 21+ must be present and show a valid, matching photo ID at the door. We do not leave orders unattended and cannot deliver to anyone who cannot be age-verified.
- Age-verification failure at the door: if no valid ID is presented, the recipient is under 21, or the recipient appears impaired, the courier will not complete the delivery. The order is returned, and a refund may be issued less any non-refundable delivery fee, at our discretion.
Payment & refund timing
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider; you authorize the charge for your order total when you place the order. The current delivery fee is $3.99, with an order minimum of $20, confirmed at checkout. When a refund is approved, it is issued to your original payment method. Most refunds post within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Delivery fees may be non-refundable where a delivery failed because age or address could not be verified at the door.
